You will also receive a video slide show set to music (available online with the option to purchase). My time for as long as your labor lasts. And finally, You will receive a complimentary Mini Maternity session You will always get a free gift from me! There is discount pricing available if booked with a newborn and/or first year package.

Q: Why should I hire a birth photographer?

A: Having me at your birth will allow you and your loved ones to focus on you, your new baby and the labor and on the experience itself.

Q: Will I meet you before my delivery day?

A: Yes, we will set up a lunch or dinner during your third trimester. At that time we will go over all the details of your birth plan and just get to know one another. If you would like to meet with me more than once, we can arrange that.

Q: If I go into labor before my due date or very early in the morning, will you be there?

A: The short answer is yes. We will discuss this more when we meet.

Q: How will you being in the room affect my labor and mood?

A: My goal is to be as “unnoticeable” as possible. I take all photos with a photo journalistic approach so there is no posing, no lights ect. If at any time things become to hectic and you want me to leave all you have to do is say so. I will give you plenty of time to yourself while still capturing those passing moments.

Q: Do you photograph c-sections?

A: If the surgical staff and doctors will let me, absolutely. If they do not, I will send your support person with a camera and I will proof those photos along with the ones I take.

Q: What if I do, or do not want certain things photographed?

A: I will do whatever you do or do not want done. We will discuss this in detail when we meet.

Q: How many images will you take?

A: There is no limit.

Q: How long will you stay after my baby is born?

A: I will come to your place of birth during active labor and stay for 1-2 hours after.

Q: If I have a long labor is there an extra charge?

A: No.

Q: What if you do not make it to my birth?

A: Unfortunately labor/birth is unpredictable. If I miss your birth because your labor is very fast, I will still be there to photograph everything else.

Q: How long have you been photographing births?

A: 5 years. I loved it then, and I love it now!

Q: How many births do you take at a time?

A: Due to my own schedule, I only take 3-4 births per year.
