Laura, my assistant, started working with me in February of 2019. Hiring her has with out a doubt been the best decision I’ve made for my business.
She had her second baby in January of 2020. The week she was supposed to come back to work from maternity leave, was the week we shut down due to COVID.
She was able to come back in June of this year (FINALLY!) ;). We’ve got a good rhythm going, and honestly – I pray she never, ever leaves! 🙂
All of these photos are from her fresh 48 session (pre covid) and from her now 10 month old baby’s newborn session. Time flies!
Laura is the one who responds to most of your emails, she schedules your session, she orders what ever we need in the studio- for real, she runs my life!
Her taking control of all of this has allowed me to focus on shooting, editing and deciding what I can do to make things better for YOU! (Which has also lessened my turn around time tremendously!)
She also has a 4 year old little boy (He was 3 in these pictures) who is undoubtedly the cutest little dude ever!
She graduated from K-State in 2011. Then moved to the Kansas City area with her husband! (YAY!) and is here to stay!

Most importantly, she helps keep your baby safe during sessions! She’s my extra hands!
